Good morning. A Sarver man is behind bars after allegedly using an excavator to destroy his own home with his family inside. State police say forty-eight-year-old Erik Pierwsza faces multiple charges, including risking a catastrophe. Investigators say Pierwsza returned home from drinking and argued with his wife. When she asked for a divorce, he allegedly climbed into the heavy machinery and tore down parts of the house while his wife and two children were inside. Thankfully, no one was hurt.Meanwhile, a bittersweet gathering took place at Bollinger Playground this weekend. The families of the late Amariah Emery and Damian Jackson held a community block party to honor the two slain New Castle youths. Both teens tragically lost their lives to gunfire in separate shootings years apart. Friends gathered to celebrate what should have been their high school graduation week while continuing to call for justice.And Scott Township residents are speaking out on future development. Local leaders held a town hall to discuss a pending ordinance to regulate data centers. The draft addresses environmental concerns, noise levels, and property setbacks.
