Good morning. Drivers in Steuben and Allegany counties should expect major traffic delays as summer infrastructure work begins. State officials say Route 36 in Canisteo will close tomorrow for a total culvert replacement lasting through September, with detours using Route 21. Also, the Hammer Creek Road bridge shuts down for eight weeks starting June eighth, and an eight-and-a-half-mile repaving project on Route 19 will reduce traffic to a single lane. Fines are doubled for speeding in these work zones.Meanwhile, an Otsego County Sheriff's lieutenant faces felony charges after a drug bust on the job. State police arrested thirty-five-year-old Lieutenant Thomas Fellrath Friday during a traffic stop on the State Thruway. Investigators allege Fellrath was on duty and driving an unmarked police cruiser outside his jurisdiction while carrying ten grams of cocaine. He is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and official misconduct.And live music returns to Lincoln Park this week. Olean’s summer concert series continues this Thursday, featuring a live folk-rock performance by the Sticktights.
