Good morning.Bystanders executed a series of dramatic vehicle rescues following a tragic, fiery three-vehicle collision on County Road twelve in the town of Naples. State investigators report that an S-U-V driven by a Steuben County woman crossed into the opposite lane and struck a pickup truck head-on, causing the S-U-V to overturn and ignite. Quick-thinking motorists successfully pulled the woman and her two young children, including an eight-month-old infant, from the vehicle right before it was completely engulfed in flames. The driver of the pickup truck was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.Meanwhile, a former Livingston County inmate will spend twenty-five years to life in state prison following a maximum second-degree murder sentencing. A judge handed down the penalty against Gabriel Jasmin for the fatal prison stabbing of an inmate at the Groveland Correctional Facility. Officials reveal that Jasmin was nearing the end of a previous twenty-five-year rape sentence when he committed the fatal workplace assault.And the Hornell Summer Playground Program has officially launched its daily operations across five regional locations.
